Mauro Giaconia swam 101K (62 miles) in 24 hours in an exhibition of endurance in the world's largest pool for the opening of San Alfonso del Mar on the west coast of Chile, about 100K west of Santiago, Chile's capital and largest city. He talked about his world record and his training with Jose Diaz of Nadandolibre (Free Swimming).
